Digital Tunnel

In our case study for the Digital Tunnel, each mouth – one at each department – includes an armature equipped with a camera/microphone and a projector, a “stage” defined by a subtle ground condition, a vertical plane onto which translations are projected, and a connection to a remote computer. Camera input is processed to read specific information of each discipline; color at the Department of Art & Art History, motion at the Department of Dance, sound at the Department of Music, speech recognition at the Department of Theatre and form at the School of Architecture.
